With this abundance of oil, I can move with freedom and grace, reaching into areas that normally feel tight or hidden, while keeping the massage soft, smooth, and deeply relaxing.
From the Ayurvedic perspective, oil massage has many benefits: it calms the nervous system, balances the doshas, supports circulation, and nourishes the skin and tissues with warmth and vitality. I especially love using coconut oil – it is light, pure, and deeply absorbed by the skin. Sometimes I draw inspiration from Hawaiian Massage, where oil is even spread on the massage table itself, allowing the body to slide and move as one with the flow of the session. Here, the touch is not concentrated on just one spot, but embraces the whole body at once.
